NOTE: The refilling procedure requires making a few holes in the cartridge. An electric drill is not recommended; it is much easier and highly recommended that you use our specialized toner holemaking tool.

This kit can also refill the starter cartridges that came with the printer when you bought it. Special instructions are provided for this purpose. However, the toner compartments of the starter cartridges are smaller than regular cartridges. So, you will need to refill them every 600 pages. If you are looking for a more practical solution, you can purchase a compatible cartridge set, then later refill them with the full 1500-2300 page load of toner, which makes for less frequent refilling.
